Is there a "Debit Card" system?

<p>My friend in the University of Vermont has a School Debit Card - which acts a Credit Card but has special features when you buy something from the school, etc.</p>

<p>Yes. It is called RU Express. You add money to the Card and you spend it like a debit card. The same card is also used as your housing key (building) and for meal swipes. It is also your student ID.</p>
