Is there a difference in taking AP Calculus AB in sophomore year instead of junior?

Do colleges look at when you take AP Calculus compared to other students? And does it make much of a difference if you take AP Calc BC junior year and get an A in class and a 5 on the exam compared to skipping AB, taking BC junior year, but getting the same results? I’m taking AP Calculus AB in junior year and BC in senior year since I’m trying to make sure I’ll be able to do all the work in my classes next year and get an A in them. I could take AP Calc BC in junior year, but I’m worried I’m not capable of taking AP Calc BC along with these APs:
APUSH
AP Physics
AP Lang
so I’m taking AP Calc AB instead so that I won’t get too stressed and won’t be able to keep up with the work along with my extracurricular activities next year. Will universities (especially the elite) look down on this choice or does it not really matter? If I do this, my senior year would look like this (APs):
AP Calc BC
AP Bio
AP Computer Science
AP Lit
And AP Calc BC is the highest level of math in my school. Thanks in advance!

The only difference would be not having math past Calc BC, but I really don’t think you have to worry about that, especially becasue your school doesn’t have math past that point. I would say by all means go with this schedule if it feels right to you-- colleges won’t really care about the AB/BC sequence, I don’t think, and at some schools it’s required to take both.

No and no. I agree with the post above.
