Sorry that I've been posting like a maniac today... So what my daughter originally thought was an inconvenience of having 2 finals in a row is actually a conflict - 2 classes with finals that would be at the same time - BUS-K 204 The Computer in Business and BUS-T 175 Kelley Compass I. But since Compass I is a 1.5 hour class, I wonder if there is a final exam. I couldn't find anything online indicating that there is not a final. I assume there is a final for BUS-K 204.

(1) Does anyone know if there is a final for Kelley Compass I?
(2) If there is a final, is the only option to deal with this final exam conflict to switch one of the two class times?

bthomp1, that’s what she did last night. It turns out that her first choice section, which was not available when she registered on Friday during orientation, had one slot open last night, so she switched. But now instead of conflicting finals, she has 3 finals on Monday, 2 which are 15 minutes apart. So she still would be interested in finding out if BUS-T 175 has a final.

The 15 minutes shouldn’t be too big of a deal, it’s more likely that you’ll finish the earlier final prior to the 2 hours than be running behind

I thought the computer system checked the finals schedule web you signed up, that’s why some schedules couldn’t work and why some kids had to spend an hour in the library because it couldn’t confirm their schedule?

Is this all on us to check the finals schedule? Good to know in the future because my grace period of two business days already passed for being able to add/drop without charge.

Because T175 is a new course (started last year), it is still changing (it changed a lot from semester 1 to semester 2…) so it could be different for you, but when I took it we didn’t have a final, just a project that took a little while, nothing too bad at all, and you turn it in whenever you want.

And K204 exams are on Sunday’s (maybe Saturday’s?), and because of this they rarely cause any exam time conflicts.
