It seems to me that every 5th topic I read; I will see the words "Holy Cross." Almost every single LAC school suggestion thread is filled with "Holy Cross."</p>
<p>cuz holy cross is really strong in some fields.</p>
<p>I noticed that, too. Most conspicuous is how every post that mentions HC has a link to some sort of website...</p>
<p>Holy Cross alumni are just highly enthusiastic fans of their small but excellent school. I graduated from there over 25 years ago and still stay in close contact with the school through the strong alumni network and following the basketball and football teams. I apologize if we are a bit obnoxious.</p>

<p>I was not aware of Holy Cross until I saw it mentioned on CC but have taken a look at it and it is a very well respected school academically based on everything I have read. I like its central New England location and less than an hour to Boston. Key for me is the SAT optional policy.</p>
