I'm a sophomore in high school and take all high level ap classes already, between this year and next year I am going to take 11 AP's in physics, calculus, chemistry, english American and world, statistics, biology, US history, Spanish, economics, and maybe more at a college senior year. I have a 4.5 weighted 3.7 unweighted but my unweighted will probably go down due to the AP classes. I play varsity lacrosse and football, I wrestled last year, and have played travel hockey and baseball my entire life. I am in DECA a business club, National Honor Society, Spanish honor society, math club, and a community service club. I volunteer at for an organization that teaches Autistic kids how to play hockey and am going to do more this summer. This is my dream to get into the Naval Academy and I am wondering if I could get in with these statistics. Also what do I need to do to improve my chances?

You look good, get a good SAT/ACT score and you should be golden. Should be… there are always strange happenings when it comes to USNA admissions. Your most important thing moving forward: keep on doing what you’re doing and have fun. Enjoy high school, because you won’t have fun in Annapolis. You can only make the most of a bad situation. I graduate in 2 months and while I don’t regret going here… I am not sure if given the choice as a HS senior I’d come here again. Great place to be from, not so great place to be. Have fun in high school, you look like you’re on the right track!
