Is there any point of applying to transfer with only a 27 on my ACT?

Hi. I want to transfer to LSA University of Michigan- Ann Arbor. I am currently at U of M- Dearborn.
I am hoping to maintain a 4.0 right now, but I think my ACT will hold me back from high school since I am applying as a freshmen for sophomore year.

Stats:
High school - 3.96 UW, 27 ACT,
AP EURO-4 APUSH-5 APCHEM-3 AP LANG-3
Did Journalism for school paper 4 years
Published poems in The American Library of Poetry
VP of Physics/Astronomy Club
Volunteered Local elementary school for 2 years

College:
4.0
Credits: 29 (when I apply by Feb. 1, with another 14 pending)
Still doing Journalism
Other Clubs

I'm just worried about my ACT score....should I retake it? Even though I'm in college right now.

I'm worried. Advice? Chance me?

Oh and I’m applying for fall 2015

Your hs stats will not be used for decision making, if that is what you are worrying about.

@artloversplus Are you sure? I heard they don’t look hs stats only if you’re a junior transfer. i am a sophomore transfer…

I think as long as you have over 30 credits or so by the time you apply, they look primarily at your HS record. I’m not sure where the person who said that you have to be a junior for them to forgive your HS record got that information from, because I just looked over the website and couldn’t find anything that said anything similar.

Dude, you’re totally in. Don’t sweat it. Just keep up the GPA and the ACT score shouldn’t be a problem. Good luck.

@PSC2IVY So there is no point in retaking the ACT at all?

Unless your GPA drops it shouldn’t be.
