Retaking ACT as undergrad

I'm looking to transfer out(for junior year) to something along the lines of NU, UofC, UVA, Claremont McKenna, Pomona, Carleton, Duke, or WashU. I'm a 3.7 right now, but had stronger GPA in hs. ACT however was 28. That's top 10 percent for that year, but I'm wondering if I should retake it to better my chances?

I would not. Transfers into junior year depend far more on college grades than anything from high school or test scores and many colleges don’t even require or consider test scores for junior transfers. Your 28 isn’t going to hurt you in chances for a junior transfer to any you list and raising it won’t really add anything.
