Is there anyone who had taken mathematics workshop is SLS?

<p>When i applied to sls, my #1 preference was mathematics workshop.
and I expected we are going to do some kind of calculus or other profound level of math problems..</p>

<p>However, I just read over the course description and found out that</p>

<p>we are doing some kind of "Sabermetrics" and "modeling the artillery piece"</p>

<p>is it serious all about those things?
For those who had taken math workshop last year or previous years..
had you guys done any calculus problems? or just "Sabermetrics"? </p>

<p>I don't even know the basic rules in baseball... dang it!</p>
