Is this a bad idea for my senior year schedule...?

Hi guys,
So I will be officially a senior in about a week when school starts again, but I’ve been questioning if my schedule is a good idea at all as I plan on applying to a very selective university ED:

AP physics 1
AP chemistry
AP language and composition
AP CALc AB
H org Chem
H anatomy and physiology

I’ve been told a mix of “that’s a really tough schedule with too much science. It looks bad for colleges, you should probably drop one for some other subject.” To “just do what you want. If you love all your courses, that’s fine. There’s no need to take courses you have no interest in at all.” (I don’t like Spanish or history AT ALL and I do plan on majoring in biochem/molecular bio, going on the pre-med track.)

So I was just wondering if I could get some feedback? Thanks!

You’re overloading in science classes. Keep AP chemistry and AP physics. Drop the other two science classes, and take a social science (doesn’t need to be AP) such as economics, government, it doesn’t have to be a history class but you do need a social science.
For your last class, if you have not taken a foreign language up to level 4 or AP, here’s your class - if not, make sure our took an art of music class; if you did, what about a CS class or robotics ?

@MYOS1634 My school doesn’t offer many courses at all, it just hit 10 APs this incoming year. There are no CS or robotics course at all. But yes, I completed H Spanish 4 this year and usually only about 6-10 students even take it further to Spanish 5, mainly because the teachers make Spanish so boring and annoying to learn. And with AP, it’s only available through VHS which isn’t my preferred way of learning. I’ve actually put up psychology as a class I wanted last year but it’s a regular leveled course only and nothing higher which is why I think they put me in an another H science class instead. Do you think if I try and switch out anatomy for AP gov be good enough?

Yes, switching out of anatomy to take AP gov is a good idea.
You don’t need a foreign language if you completed Spanish 4.
Anything you can take beside organic chemistry? Because that class is not a preview of what orgo will be like in college - well, it may concern two months of college material over a year but the ‘real’ organic chemistry can’t possibly be taught at high school level.

@MYOS1634 hm. I don’t think so. All the art, English, and math related classes left are all regular electives and I’ve took in the past already, a culinary arts elective, 2 tech-related electives, and 2 business ones, a sign language one, and a fine arts one already so I don’t think there’s much left unless other than AP microeconomic. But I would see if my schedule fits first since it seems very tight already.
