Hey guys Ive been pondering essay topics for my early admission to UAlbany. One Of their suggested topics is a life experience. (under the autobiography section). Earlier in my junior year my English teacher had an assigment to write and essay that was styled like a college essay. It was supposed to be a reflection of a life experience that had an effect on you. Earlier that year a very close family lost their mother/wife to a long battle with breast cancer. I chose this to write my essay. My teacher thought it was wonderful and I could use bits and pieces of it for my admissions essay into colleges. I am still very close to this family, and in there house they have a plack with the quote, "Life isn't about waiting forthw storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain." I was very inspired by this and thought how I could base my essay of it and really focus on this familys story and how it has changed me, and how I can learn from it. I would appreciate any feedback and opinions. Please and thank you!!
