Is this a good freshman schedule?

spanish, english, history are fine. math i recommend taking geometry(or at least algebra 1 honors, if that’s possible) and biology/biology honors instead of earth science(again, if that’s possible).

But seriously, consider signing up for all honors classes. If they’re too hard, you can always switch down a level. Also, consider dropping one of your electives for Biology.

I don’t think I should do all honors  I have a B in regular Science and I’m working really hard in Math to maintain an A.

Welp, my recommendation then is to keep what you have, but take AP World. I feel like you are pretty set in keeping your schedule though.

"plus if you have to take algebra II the year after geometry after having skipped algebra, you’ll be extremely lost.
HORRIBLE IDEA. "

^ I did it. Wasn’t too bad, and I suck at math. Ended with a 94, although it was regular level.

I recommend not taking any APs this year; I see freshman year as a time to goof off and have fun. Try honors in either science or math even though you say you aren’t good at them; you might not regret it. I’m taking honors precalc this year after 2 years of regular math, and I received a 90 for semester I. I’m glad I didn’t drop back down like I’d wanted to.

Also … I don’t really understand the push for having her (assuming you’re female- sorry if you aren’t) take earth science senior year? Either way she ends up with earth science/bio/chem/physics on her transcript, so why does it matter?

wigglechoo: For my school, the path to take is Honors Global, and then AP World, we are required to have two years of global history.

IIdm21- I know Algebra 2 would be hard for me without Algebra 1 but GOOD JOB!
