Is this a good SAT II Lit score??

I just got my SAT II Literature score today and it’s a 730. I was aiming a bit higher considering that English is one of my strongest classes, and I want to apply to Ivies and elite universities, but is this score good enough?

I also scored a 770 on US History.

I’m retaking the SAT I in October (November too, if need be), so I would retake it in December.

If you are aiming to major in english, it would look better to have a higher score but anything in the 700s looks reasonably good

Hey there! If you’re looking at top universities and Ivies, I would recommend to retake it. Anything 770+ will probably do it. Good luck!

If it would be reasonable to do so, I’d think about retaking it. That said, I am sending in a score of 730 (on biology) in, but I’m thinking it will split the difference since I’m also sending a 790 on Lit.

If you feel busy and would rather focus on other parts of your application, you could also just do that and probably be fine.
