<p>On the commonapp, I absent mindedly selected that I did not 'intend' to apply for aid not thinking that we would qualify.</p>
<p>But my parents just decided to fill out FFSA form to give it a shot. Do you think this will impact my admissions decisions negatively? Like I was not truthful....</p>
<p>I believe this depends whether or not the said school was need blind or need conscious. </p>
<p>If it is the later, I'm sure it would make some type of difference, especially if your EFC was low.</p>
<p>Sound like you've been through a lot with your parents based on your other posts. You have time to change your status to applying for aid for the schools you haven't heard from.</p>
<p>Drop a not to all of your schools to let them know that circumstances have changed and that you will be applying for financial aid. You won't be the only applicant who has had to tell them that this morning!</p>
