is this a scam?

i received a letter from national dean's list..

what is thi ?? and should I give them my biography to be published?

help !

Are they asking you for money, ss# or other personal info in order to be published?

Are they asking you for money in order to receive a copy of whatever they are publishing?

It's probably a scam!

I haven't heard of this one before. The big three seem to be "Who's Who", "National Honor Roll" and "National Society of High School Scholars". The name sounds like a scam, but for college students instead of high school students.

I went to their website. There are no direct fees, but National Honor Roll doesn't have any either. It is a front for a marketing firm that makes its money by selling mailing lists of its "honorees".

then fill it out with an ID u dont mind losing

Hey! I receive the same thing. I filled it out though since it does not require that you pay before having your biography published. You only have to pay if you want your picture published, and also if you want a copy of the book.
Hope it's not a scam though because I send them my informations. Not paying anything because the book will be available in libraries, and I don't want my photo published.

It can't actually be called a scam. It is simply another publication like Who's Who where you, and hundreds of thousands of others, can get into it without cost but can't get the publication without buying it. The same company that does the Who's Who does this one.
