Is This a Ture Illinois Law?

I was told by someone that Illinois has a new law that says that universities in Illinois have to accept all credits earned from community college in Illinois. I know there is an old law that says they need to accept like 80% of them but all of them? Anyone know?

I find it very hard to believe that there is any law governing how many credits universities HAVE to allow transfer from CC's. Many credits simply don't transfer because the school offers no similar course, and they have every right to turn credit down as far as I know.

Actually, i compleatly sure that there is a law that says that in state schools have to accepts a certain precentage of credits from each other. They did it because back in the day, people were going to community colleges and when they wanted to transfer to a four year school, the university would refuse to take any of their hours. They were screwing over a lot of people.

Any way, is there a new law? I could ask the people at my school but they don't know jack about anything.
