I'm going to be taking the SAT on December 3 and ACT on December 10 in hopes of retaking the SAT (third time) and taking the ACT. I got a 2000 on the SAT (highest one), but I need to send in scores of 2100+ or 33+ higher for my schools. That said, this in midst of college apps, essays, honors/ap classes, sat II, etc. Anyone else in the same situation. Worst, stressful months of my life :/

anyone? same situation?

I’m not in that situation yet, but plenty of others have been, and plenty of others (myself included) will be in the future.

Just relax and try not to stress out, realize that everything will work out, especially if you work through it calmly.

But, do you think I should study for the SAT (for the ACT yes)??? Since i know the test, I feel like I just need another try for my goal…uggh

I am in this situation just not as badly. I have essays (UC and Common App), studying for math 2, self studying bio and 5 ap’s. I’m taking the SAT in December as well but I already have a 2150 so this attempt will be more relaxed.

Good luck…as nike says…“Just Do It!”. haha.

btw: I would take both the ACT and SAT as you are doing, but I would just focus on one to study. Put all the marbles on the SAT or the ACT because studying for both won’t be as effective.

Which one should I do? Since, I don’t know much about the ACT, the ACT I should concentrate on?

Hm… If you don’t know much about the ACT, perhaps you should focus on the SAT? You already have more experience with the SAT.

well, everyone tells me the act is a lot easier (everyone whom ive talked to said their acts > sats). so i want to make sure I do that also

Definitely relate. Only difference is, I’m not taking the SAT. I’ve got a 2000 on my last trial, and working towards a hopeful 2200. Probably going to superscore though. Just keep working hard and stay determined. You’ll be thanking yourself later on.

Btw, do most colleges in the US accept superscoring?
