<p>At your school, would it be normal for seniors to hang out/get with freshman and sophomore girls? It's pretty much taboo at my school but I've had this strange feeling for the past 3.5 years that my school is far from normal... especially considering my graduating class has 60 guys and 30 girls :P</p>

<p>Haha I’m just trying to get a feel for this since my options are severely limited (read: every girl in my grade has a boyfriend in college or from another school, juniors stick to juniors, etc)</p>
<p>My school’s pretty big, so you never know for sure what year somebody is, but I don’t think people care anyway. I’ve never really paid attention.</p>

<p>At my school, it’s VERY common. Every year, there are a couple of freshmen at senior prom. Sure, it’s kind of annoying, but it can work out pretty well. I know of a couple who have been doing it long distance for two years. He was a senior, she was a sophomore. And now he’s a sophomore in college and they’re still going out!!!</p>
<p>As a freshie I was with a junior, which is kind of the same thing as a sophomore and a senior. I know a lot of my friends (guys) who date sophomores and even freshmen. A lot of the fresh are really easy, and my guy friends are kind of jerks/manwhores like that. So it’s kind of weird, but I think people usually just assume you’re a hoe if your a senior guy picking off fresh/sophies frequently.</p>

<p>The freshmen class this year is really annoying though.</p>
<p>But I mean… my local high schools don’t even have 9th grade in the school itself. One has it’s own campus while the other has 9th grade in junior high.</p>
<p>My school’s weird and there’s only 150 of us, so we all intermingle.</p>
<p>As for going out with… I don’t like dating guys younger than me (I am now…) but at 14-15, I definitely would have been totally okay with dating a 16-17 year old. But it really depends on you. Do you like a 14 year old? I think at 18… that seems bizarre, but it isn’t impossible if the other girl is mature and you’re …for lack of a better word immature. XD</p>

<p>At my school its normal for seniors to hang out with a few (I hang out with a sophomore) but I think it would be very rare in all schools. Cause honestly think about it unless they knew them previously I don’t think senior year is time to go make new friends since you are kinda leaving…</p>
<p>it usually doesn’t work out. i went out with a guy who was a little over 3 years older than me when I was 14. So yeah, for like a month, I was 14 and he was 18. but anyways. when people get older it barely matters. but at this age 17 year olds want different things than 14 year olds… if you catch my drift.</p>

<p>^^^ If that’s the case bro, then you need to watch out for statutory rape, if you’re 18. It’s usually a non-issue, but if she gets mad at you for any reason, she’s got you by the ropes.</p>
<p>There are so many juniors dating freshman it’s actually getting a little ridiculous…I mean there isn’t anything too wrong with it just because it’s the norm but I do think it’s weird when seniors girls date freshman boys and yes that is happening at my school. </p>
<p>Maybe I’m biased just because I am a junior dating a sophomore and before that I was talking to a freshman! Yes, I have been called a cougar multiple times.</p>
