<p>I applied regular, submitted everything(i mean EVERYTHING) by/before Jan. 1.
I have not heard a thing from Harvard except an email on the second week of january saying they got my common app, which does not mean my app. is complete.
I never got an access code PIN thing, and i have no idea whether my application is complete or not. its approaching february, and i am getting sort of nervous. So if you have an account with the PIN, you are able to check the status of your application at this point, correct? (i know that cornell and princeton, even though they have similar online status check systems, don't run it fully until early february) and i am in the process of getting a PIN through email, with a denial on the first attempt.
I live in one of the biggest metropolitan area in America, and i still have not been contacted for an interview either.
should i worry yet about the things mentioned above?? (in fact, i am feeling a bit nervous !)</p>
<p>"So if you have an account with the PIN, you are able to check the status of your application at this point, correct?"</p>
<p>Yes.</p>
<p>Not sure about your other questions, though.</p>
<p>I don't know the solution to your problem but some people were talking about the same situation so maybe if you go to this thread you could find some answers</p>
<p>yeah thanks. i read that post before, but my case a bit different because she submitted hers in "mid fall" while i submitted mine by the RD deadline.
i was wondering if it is too EARLY to call them up and ask about the whole situation...
anybody have any suggestions?
oh, and for those who got message of completion, do they send it to you via e-mail? and approximately how long after you've submitted your application did you receive the message?
thanks guys!
oh and emailing for the PIN did not work, and its not going to work... i don't think i know my full name lol. i keep on getting "denied" message!</p>
<p>why don't you just call them? instead of emailing?</p>
<p>Well, I understand your extreme tension and anxiety right now, but I'm almost 100% Postive that Harvard did not lose your app.</p>
<p>And since they did say that they received your common app, you can also rule out the possibility of an evil mailman stealing your application, or the possibility that the post office thought that your application was letter-bomb and threw it out.</p>
<p>My advice to you is: Take a breather, and just realize how many applications Harvard actually has to go through. Calm down, and everything will be fine.</p>
