i recently took a practice SAT and recieved the following:
M:760
W:700(10 essay)
CR:610
Total:2070
I really want to know:
Is this score good for a freshman?
Which colleges would accept me with these scores?
What can i do to improve my CR score?
any comments would help thanks

freshman need to not take the SATs and get off of this forum before i slaughter them

do you really need to ask that?
yes it's good for a freshmen.
the best way to improve your score is not to worry about it for the next two years.

Kid, there are quite a few Seniors that would kill for that SAT score.

" Is this score good for a freshman?

yes
yes...but if you're aiming for more competitive schools like ivies, then i'd retake junior year for something like 2200+
read more...(novels, magazines, newspapers...anything of literary merit)

wow.......

I'm pretty sure you can answer all of those questions yourself

and if you really wanted to show off your scores
you could have done it someplace else...

wow...

hello honey boy .
i want to tell you this one phrase i like to you pretentious dorks.

ok, sorry for being arrogant(which was not my intention whatsoever). Can anyone just tell me how to improve my CR score?

Practice Practice Practice

Uh guys I got a 680 in math while in algebra I. Its not very hard... some people have an innate ability for math. What I am surprised is at the Writing score. That is pretty amazing.

For CR try barrons 3500 word list for vocab.

CR reading is really just reading. work on speed and comprehension. the more used to reading really boring things you can get, the better off you'll be.

yes it is a good score if you are a freshman. you have two more years to improve your CR, so don't worry too much about it. AP English classes help, especially when you're prepping for the AP test.

your writing score needs work however. 700 on writing is not good at all. read more perhaps? you have two years.

and no college determines admission based solely on an SAT score.

no its a horrible score. good luck getting into community college

Don't worry about that CR score for another two years...I got a 540 on CR on the PSATs my freshman year and it's gone up about 200 points. I was frustrated that there was such a huge gap between my Math score and the reading, but they even out with time as you get more used to reading difficult passages and learn more vocab.

take practice tests

No, it's terrible.

Community college for you.
