<p>I think you’re set. If you have the EC and GPA to go along with your scores. If only your CR score is the same as your Writing score</p>
<p>Those are great scores, but just remember that scores won’t carry you into the Ivies.</p>
<p>So pretty much I should not retake it after getting such scores and just focus on my EC’s and essays?</p>

<p>There is no “okay” score threshold. Your scores are perfectly respectable, but if you can raise them by 40+ points, you should retake. Why? Because your chances of getting into a top school increase with your scores.</p>
<p>that’s better than my score… but my big bro, who had already graduated from college said it’s not worth retaking a 2260 (mine) because it wouldn’t really help, unless i can get some ridic high score like 2350+</p>

<p>The 75th percentile, where you want to be If you don’t have a hook, is 780/790 per section. A 730CR is below median, and median includes the half of the class with hooks.</p>
