Senior Schedule:
AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP English Lit
AP US Government
AP Calculus
AP Computer Science

I'm going to be swim captain next year. That will involve a lot of planning throughout the fall season. There are morning practices and afternoon practices.
I also will be volunteering at a hospital on the weekend.

My parents are convinced that it's impossible. They refuse to listen to me about anything. They tell me that I'm a child, therefore I don't know anything about anything.

Good luck. That’s all that I have to say.

Gov and Lit are easy… The others are pretty difficult. You have your work cut out for you, but if you prioritize you should be fine.

It’s going to be hard. You knew that already. However, if you can handle 3-5 hours of HW a day, then I’d call it manageable. However, only you can tell if you can truly handle that. Have you had a similar workload in the past?

Whether or not it is manageable will vary based on your school/teachers and how many of the classes you plant to take seriously enough to take the AP exam for.

doesn’t look workable to me. If you actually want to pass the AP tests, it probably won’t go well. Unless you are at one of those schools, usually a private school, that calls a class AP but really doesn’t expect much or massively curves the grades, you will get lower grades and reduce your chances at a college you want.

^I’ve seen people do 10 in one year.

Also, many of the classes can be self-studied, meaning he can read during the summer to gain a better knowledge and make the class more manageable.

Also, OP isn’t asking if he will be able to study hard enough in each AP to get a 5, he’s asking if the workload will be to much that he can’t do some of his EC’s

It’s going to be a lot of work, and I feel sorry for you. This plan will test your time management skills. Your ECs are pretty cool and it’ll suck if you can’t attend them when you’re stressing about all those AP classes. If I were you, I would remove at least two. I had six AP classes scheduled also for senior year, and my guidance counselor basically told me, “Are you stupid!” Lol. She told me that’s it’s good to say that you’re taking all these classes, but actually taking them will be a pain. I will definitely bow down to you if you can keep a A/B average with those classes. Colleges love to see students take rigorous courses senior year that they can handle. Some students can only 2-4 AP courses (me lol) and I make sure that I’ll do well in them.

Just do your best, and make time for those ECs.~
