I don't know if you saw my previous post but here's my question...
On my application it said that I did 4 years of track and field because I planned to but scheduling conflicts did not allow me to do both track and Calculus BC without some serious loss of class time so I made the obvious decision and opted out. Do you think this is serious enough to revoke my admission :( And since I have to tell them what e-mail address should I use?

Not sure which of the two you opted out from - the sport or the class.

If the sport, unlikely to be an issue at all, worth notifying them but I would phrase the notification as ‘mentioning a minor change from what I listed as my plans’.

If the class, did you take a different but still rigorous class with different times or was this a reduction of your classload? Even in that ‘worst’ case, it doesn’t automatically lead to rescinding your offer. If you have a reasonable schedule otherwise and earned good solid grades (not just barely reaching the 3.0 minimum), then this is something you should be able to explain to their satisfaction. Write it up so that it does not portray you as shirking work or kicking back - instead giving some detail to make your point. If I were you, I would include some details such as “meets X, Y and Z on the schedule were for these dates/times” then would show that those directly conflicted with attendance in the class by describing the schedule - meets on these days of week and times.

With the right explanation and immediate notification, I would expect you will get a fairly rapid and positive response. They are guarding against people who drop most of their classes, or invented classes they had no plan to take. In your case you can show that you were scheduled for the class, that you were on the track and field team. You were not partying at the beach instead of attending classes.

There should be an email address on your MyBerkeleyApp account, contact them and if there is a phone number, follow up with a phone call.
