I know it varies on each class and school, but how much time would be spent on homework for these classes? I know AP World gives a bunch. Also, does anyone have experience with online math courses? I know a lot of Algebra 2 already, which is why I was planning on doing it online. Is this a good idea? Thanks in advance
I doesn’t seem as if it were “too much.” APWH will be challenging, though. The schedule is kind of leveled up since you are taking guitar/jazz band; this class should give you some relief. I don’t know how hard speech and debate is but your schedule seems okay to me. Just study.
I just finished sophomore year with a similar schedule and I can tell you it looks pretty manageable. AP World will pbe tough, but luckily you can devote a lot of attention to that since it’s your only AP class. The homework times vary depending on teachers; for me personally, I rarely had Spanish homework, Algebra 2 assigned homework every night but it was pretty straightforward, chemistry just involved a good deal of practice with the math parts, and English just had a good amount of reading. I don’t know about online classes though. However, I’m sure you can handle it, just try to stay on top of things and good luck.
Your schedule looks like the perfect mix of challenging and doable. If you’re good at science, chemistry and physics shouldn’t give you too much trouble. AP World History is a pretty demanding course (i took it last year, my sophomore year (: ) but it’s not impossible at all. I took a pre-AP english courses both my freshman and sophomore years, and at least with my teacher, they weren’t easy. The class is totally doable, but it’s a relatively rigorous course, and should prepare you effectively for AP english classes. As long as you pay the right amount of attention to each course and do what each teacher asks of you, it should be a nice year for you. (:
