Is this summer online course load too much?

Hey guys, I was wondering if it was a good idea to take 7 semester online courses online? I need 7 classes specifically because I need 7 A’s to raise my UC GPA to what I want, lol. Junior year summer is the last time I can raise my GPA, but I’m not sure if this course load plan would be too overwhelming and backfire and end up lowering my GPA instead. I’m planning on taking:

  1. AP Economics (2 semesters)
  2. Geography (1 semester)
  3. Introduction to Philosophy (1 semester)
  4. AP Psychology (2 semesters)
  5. Introduction to Sociology (1 semester)

I’m going to take most of the classes on National University High School and the AP Psych class on Florida Virtual School.

Also is this even possible if the max my high school allows is 10 credits during the summer?

i think this is doable if you don’t procrastinate. all are courses which require you to do the reading in order to understand the info, so if you’re willing to do that, i think you’ll be fine .

I would drop Ap Economics if I were you, just to ensure that you finish in time. I actually started taking a year long course of math and english during summer through FLVS and I’m halfway done. Be careful about losing motivation.

FLVS has a good reputation for Ap Psych. I’m not sure about NUVHS. You might want to look through some reviews of those classes first. But if you think you can handle all of the courses, I say go right ahead!

I think you could do this. AP Econ is the only class that will really be difficult. Best of luck!

I’m taking about that many this late Spring/early Summer. Plus one intense history course. I believe that you can do it…just stick to it. I wish you the best of luck in all you do.

by the way you’re lucky to have a Geography course. I can’t find one as of yet.
