My son was accepted last year. The acceptance package is a large, white envelope. There was no letter preceding it other than a notification that the application was complete and being reviewed.

Good luck everybody!

Agree with starfish!! Son accepted EA last year-notification happened the same way. However, did not receive envelope until the middle of the month!! I remember it was nerve-bending!!!! Hang in there everyone; things will work out!!

My son got a big white envelope. I'm not exactly sure what the date was, but remember a big brouhaha on the boards because everyone thought the letters were going out on a certain date, which turned out to be wrong. As for nerve-bendingness, it appears that my nerves are more bent than my daughter's are at this time.

A lot different than the pre-web days for sure. I sometimes wonder if the ready access to information and others in the same boat, while building a pretty cool nationwide support network, doesn't also serve to keep it on our minds more than it might be otherwise...

For those of us who applied regular decision, we have to wait until April with the same raw nerves! I don't know how I am going to get through the next 4 months. I never thought my nerves would be this shattered. My D doesn't think there is any chance she'll get in, so she's not even wasting her time thinking about it...sigh...

Your daughter is probably a lot better off than we are right now! If kids actually worried like we did, they'd be--well, middle aged women! :)

Starfish is correct. Big envelope.

hahaha...that made me laugh, DDJones! Thanks...

my acceptance last year was a large white envelope with the words "welcome home" and an obvious acceptance package visible through the window.
