<p>one of the uc essay topics is writing an essay about something zoomed out
i decided why not do myself and say how my application is me zoomed out, then attempt to zoom in by explaining who i really am</p>

<p>is this a good idea? or is this being to critical of the college selection process- cuz the last thing i want to do is **** off the addmission director</p>

i say go for it.
from what i've heard, uchicago loves interesting interpretations of the topic..the quirkier the better.</p>
