<p>How hard is it to get classes as a transfer?</p>
<p>Its VERY hard. Last year Almost every class was full. If you go to orientation you get an earlier registration date, which is pretty cool, but useless because everything is already taken up by continuing students… that was my problem last year. On the bright side, some classes leave spaces closed so that when the transfers/freshmen have a chance to register some of them get into their classes. good luck</p>
<p>so orientation is not worth it? the only reason I wanted to go is to get the classes I need (which have been full for weeks now). But if its useless either way, wouldn’t it be smarter to just save the $70 or whatever?</p>
<p>If i had to pay for it myself i wouldn’t do it no… It was corny yes, but interesting sorta?, lots of valuable info on graduation requirements, how to contact your counsellor, how to crash classes, blah blah etc. My parents payed for it cause the wanted to see my school and what it was about. It was expensive, and I got to spend the day staring at hot girls whom would soon by my fellow students… can’t complain, but to answer your question, It’s not absolutely necessary.</p>
