Is Uconn a good choice for foreigner?!

Hey, I am an international student who will pursue my study in U.S. I have got AD from Uconn in sport management grad progam. I want to get more information about the school and the program. Is it a good choice for a foreigner? And if there is some job opportunities in this area.

UConn offers a lot of support for International Students: [International Services and Programs (DISP) | UConn](http://www.disp.uconn.edu/)

well, I have read these official information. I want to know other aspects. Are students here open to making friends with foreigners? Is it a good place to experiece real American culture? Are there any good places to hang out?

Uconn is 20% minorities, if you are one. They also have cultural programs. When I went to the admitted students open house the other day, a student was there that had flown in from china. I can’t say for certain but it appears to seem they are open to foreigners. It’s a pretty big university so there are plenty of places on campus to hang out like the student union. I’m not sure what you mean by American culture though

The University also has a Global House learning community for Americans and international students who want to learn about other cultures. About American culture, you should certainly experience that in a large university that is well known by most of the U.S.
