My major EC is soccer. I've played through the JV/Varsity level all 4 years of high school. Team captain Junior and Senior years. Won district championships and hoping to catch the eyes of coaches soon since I'm considered a good player. Also been involved in club soccer all my life and have won various awards and trophies.

Although I've had little time to focus on things besides soccer and school I have been able to volunteer in some community service activities as well.

So, you guys think I have a shot at UCSD? Even if it's kinda slim? Oh, and I can write well so consider all of this plus the fact my essays will be good too. Thanks for any answers.

yea You have shot. It may be slight reach with that UC gpa. But if you score 2000+ on SAT it would help a lot.

a sat of 2100 or over would help your odds a lot. unfortuantly for you, uc's weigh gpa more heavilly than sat. but still i believe you got a shot with an sat of around 2100. ucsd's average uc gpa for admitts last year was a 4.04, but get your sat up high and you got a shot.

as of right now:
