Is UF cheaper than UCF???

So I was googleing UF vs UCF tuition and it looks like UF is cheaper by like 1300 bucks for 4 years or by semester by about 60 bucks. Am I crazy? Maybe it’s because Gainesville is a small town with a different economy so the price difference is really not what it seems? Can someone give their in put on this because, shoot, I’d rather go to UF because it’s a beautiful historic school. I’d be transferring by the way.

UCF and UF should be very similar for in-state tuition. You can look them up directly at:

@Zinhead Okay that’s what I thought lol, thanks

UF tuition and Fees are $212.71 per credit hour (in-state). UCF’s is $212.28
All Florida Public universities charge 105.07 in tuition, and the rest are fees.

UF charges more for Activity and Service Fees ($19 vs $11.67 at UCF), but UF charges much less for Athletic Fees ($1.90 vs $14.32 at UCF, UF has one of the few athletic departments in the country that actually earns a profit).

UCF’s cost of attendance (COA) is slightly higher, but not enough to make a difference.
