I want to go to UIC so bad, I really want to…
BUT…
my dad earns 45k per year but I count with his support at 0%.
my GPA will be most likely 3.5, and i will graduate with honors but not in the honor society.
I have taken about 10 AP/PreAP, but i dont have nothing impressive like to earn a serious scholarship.
im not in any sports or clubs, however im signed to Mad Decent an electronic music label but djing wont count since this will be my last year making music so ignore this i could make a hell lot of money in chicago as a dj but i am slow learner so i need that time and going through college is a priority for my mom who doesnt live with me.

is IUC affordable?.

Are you instate for Illinois? If not, cost of attendance will be more than $40,000/per year, and likely going up every year, with little chance of getting sufficient financial aid.
@katliamom thanks for all the feedback but I talked to my counselor and she talked about texas.
U of Houston is pretty reasonable!
