Is UW Milgrad Business School really that bad

My stats didnt get me into UW Foster but I got into UW Tacoma and WSU main campus I wanted to go to UWT but a lot of people are telling me not too, its cheaper, closer to home, more convenenient but people are warning me that its not a good school at all, will I even get a job in accounting or business managment with a degree from there or should I just go out to Pullman to finish my degree there, which I really dont want to do

This is really not true at all. I don’t know about the business school at UWT but UWT overall is not a bad school. A lot of professors that teach at UWS also teach at UWT, for example the CS department at UWT. My brother is currently attending UWT and I looked at some of his HW, it was very similar to what I did here in UWS. Just because it is new doesn’t mean that it is a bad school.

Before getting accepted into UWS, I emailed UWT CS program and they said their unemployment rate after graduation is extremely low, companies around also recruit there and students have a good chance to get an intern. I recommend you to email your program and ask about internships and employment rate after 6 months of graduation before you decide.

Most of the time, ask many employers and they will say that they don’t care where you got your degree from, as long as you are able to do the work or have experiences.

I am not really clear on where the “Seattle is better than Tacoma or Bothell” mentality has been borne out of, other than students making their own conclusions and creating a false perception that one is somehow superior to others. I will stand by that opinion until someone presents actual evidence (data) showing that one is truly inferior. :)

They are branch campuses of the University of Washington, and you earn a UW degree from them. That is a world-class education, no matter who signs along with the President.
