IS vs IA +?

Hey all,

I'm looking to transfer out of my CC after this year but need some advice on degrees to help me decide which school would be best to transfer to.
Background: I shrugged off high school, very low GPA, but had a decent ACT score (27). Decided to go to a community college to work on my GPA. Did 36hrs with a 3.33, then went into the work force. Worked my way up to managing a large sales team at a multimillion dollar sales site, left for health reasons and decided to go back to school.
I love business, I'm a suit and tie kind of guy and I excel at it. But my hobbies have always been tech related. Given that, I wanted to go for finance but MIS seemed like a nice blend of what I like. I might consider a double major.

So where I find myself now is...

Option 1: UTSA offers IS and IA degrees. I started looking into IA after seeing this and the backing they have from the DOD, it looks like something I'd be interested in, but it seems like MIS/CIS/IS leads to more corporate oriented work(as in, you possibly end up as CIO) than IA. Is that the case or could IA take you to a similar career?

At this school my scores are above average. That, combined with my health issues make it likely that I'll receive a good amount of funding to pay for school. That's a plus. But it's not respected like, UT or something like that, so a double major with finance added in seems like a waste. However, they're dumping money into their tech programs and have just opened up new facilities for those majors, so their reputation could grow for tech oriented degrees.

Option 2: Texas State University offers CIS. Not a strong likelihood of good financial aid. Decent reputation but mainly only in this state. But a CIS/Finance here would be stronger than a IS/Finance from UTSA.

To sum it up, which is more advantageous alone to move into management? And if I went for a double, would adding finance to IS or IA even be worth the time?

Thanks

bump. anyone?
