I'm a newly admitted international transfer student, and I'm deciding between several univs.

The international student body is really really, I may say tiny, at WFU, only about 1.4%, but WFU is really outstanding in the study abroad program comparing to other schools across the country. That's really like two extremes...

So could anyone here tell me is this school international student friendly and how int'l students are treated at WFU?

Thank you so much!

I apologize for the late reply and I hope you decided to go to Wake.

I’m an international student and I love it here. The people are friendly and there is something for everyone at Wake. Although the international population is low, we have an international student association and an asian student association.

The international students office is also very helpful and organizes weekly walmart trips and hiking trips over long weekends.

saketm: Thank you!! So good to hear that you are having a wonderful time at Wake, seems that though the international student population is low, but they are well cared! That’s great.

and for me, I will most likely attend NYU-Stern or Cornell, where there is a huge international population. actually this is not the only factor in my making the decision, I’m kind of love the northeastern than the mid-atlantic. but just my own preference.

But I wish I could get a chance to visit Wake Forest campus one day as I’ve done sooo much search on this school and I really find it hard to turn this great school down, but anyway, thank you again saketm!!!
