I just visited today and it is A LOT more vegan-friendly than my old school.

My daughter’s there; she was a vegetarian (not vegan, but she doesn’t like cheese) and she’s now a pescatarian I think it’s pretty friendly to vegans, but my impression is that the vegan-friendly entrees tend to repeat on a fairly short cycle, which is what pushed her over to the dark side. That and the free lox on Sundays at the Jewish cultural center! The vegetarian/vegan food’s pretty good from what I’ve observed though.

Hmm interesting. Did your daughter dine in the main campus dining hall or in a local dining hall for her college? The main campus dining hall seems to have something vegan every day.

you can search for vegan meals by opening up the “Refine your search with Dietary options” drop down menu

Thanks very much as always, menloparkmom! What I do know is that I ate at the Commons today and there were a lot more vegan-friendly options than were listed on the website there.

my daughter pretty much eats at TD every day; I don’t know about Commons, but I think the other RCs have pretty similar menus every day. And I’m not saying they don’t have vegan options every day; it’s more that it tends to be the same vegan option every third or fourth day. But that’s not to say that this might well be far better than many other schools.
