Recommendations: my guidance counselor knows me relatively well and my other recommender is my APCSP and intro to java teacher. I know I probably shouldn’t do CS teacher if I want to major in business but honestly my favorite teacher in high school and I loved computer science but not the right job for me

I normally don’t like doing chance me’s (since at the end of the day, it all depends on how competitive your application class is), but since your stats were relatively similar to mine, I’ll make the exception. Your GPA was almost exactly the same as mine (3.45 weighted), I also took a ton of APs as well (10 in total), however, my exams were quite a bit higher. 1490 SATs (using the old scale converted), and a 31 ACTs. I’m assuming that my high scores were probably what pushed me over the edge and got me accepted directly into Isenberg. I would say you have a decent chance of getting in due to your APs and extracurriculars, but you might get put on the exploratory track. But for UMass in general, you have a great chance. So you might have to do an internal transfer into Isenberg later on, but you’ve pretty much got it in the bag for UMass in general. However, take what I say with a grain of salt, because I was accepted almost 2 years ago. I’m not sure how competitive the next year’s class will be.
