Did anyone else get invited to apply for this program? It sounds like a really rewarding academic experience, and all of the other perks don’t hurt either (getting to check out books for a whole quarter, getting to live in Miller Hall, etc.)

For anyone who’s currently enrolled in the program, is it really as great as the pamphlet makes it sound? Would it be worth giving up UCLA to enroll in ISHP?

Is it worth it for the perks? No not really. If enter in as a sophomore like me, you don't really even need the priority registration. You aren't really going to check out books for a quarter...at least I have not yet. In fact, I have only been to library once all year. Miller hall is...eh? Triples aren't that fun.

ISHP by itself isn't worth giving up another school. Its up to you whether it is worth it to give up UCLA for Davis.

With a smaller incoming class than last year, will Miller Hall still have triples? Were the triples a cost-reducing option, or did everyone living there have to accept them? The layout of the building does seem nice...along with the Segundo DC...

Smaller incoming class? You mean lower acceptances to the school. There is no sure way to predict how many people will submit their SIRs to davis. Last year there was an abnormal amount of people who accepted regents/IS. Could be the same this year again. I know someone who will give up berkeley (haha reminds me of myself) to take regents at davis this year.
