ISO: Mandatory?

Is it mandatory?

[I just don't see the point in having a 3-4 day International orientation followed by another 5 day new student orientation.]

I heard that this year ISO does not start before NSO. I think they have done it that way in the past, but now all students are supposed to arrive on the same day.

Hey, I may be wrong though…

It really depends. Things like check-in with the international office youhave to do. If you lived in the U.S. for years, you may find that a lot of the ISO is just utterly useless to you. If you aren’t familiar with the U.S. way at all, then you may want to attend the ISO.

FYI, the stuff at NSO is completely different, so don’t worry about having the two covering similar things or whatnot.
