Issue with CSU app

I am choosing not to report income on my CSU app, as it is stated that I can do at the end of this page on the Cal Apply website: https://help.liaisonedu.com/Cal_State_Apply_Applicant_Help_Center/Filling_Out_Your_Cal_State_Apply_Application/Cal_State_Apply_Personal_Information/7_Financial_and_Parental_Information

So apparently I can just enter 999,999. I did this for both the income and taxed income. But when it came time to turn in the application, a warning popped up warning me that I had entered the same amounts in both fields. I could technically continue with submitting my app, but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right? Can someone guide me through this? Where exactly should I enter 999,999 for income? Or should I expect this warning?

I am currently in line for customer service, but I’m losing hope of getting their help because I was kicked out of line multiple times. All tips appreciated!

I don’t know the answer to your question but, if you find out, will you come back and post so that future applicants know?

@lkg4answers Yes, Thank you for asking for this!

I messaged customer service and they told me that this was the correct thing to do. Enter 999,999 for BOTH fields (untaxed and regular income). When you are about to turn in your apps and pay, the CSU website will pop up a warning saying something along the lines of “Careful! You have entered the same number in both fields! Are you sure that you would like to proceed?” I asked customer service about this as well, and they said that it’s fine, it’s just a default pop up that occurs and should be disregarded (basically, just click accept and move onto the page where you finally pay your apps).
