It seems as though Penn looks at the person as a whole more than other top schools...

Is this a correct assumption? I, quite honestly, know my GPA / SAT scores are not up there with the rest of you aspiring Penn students, but from what I've heard from alumni/counselors, Penn looks at more than your scores more so than other top schools. Just throwing a few of my numbers out: 3.6 Weighted GPA (great, tough school), 2080 SAT (740M, 630R, 710W); SAT II Physics 670; MathII 660, but just retook. I'm honestly not the greatest test taker, moreso with actual in class tests than standardized.

However, I feel that my EC's (Computer Music Production, Microsoft Authorized Computer Refurbishers, Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic), and some internship/work experience along with great essays and recs would help make up for it. Am I correct?

I want to major in Electrical Engineering or Business, so I was thinking about applying to M&T, but I really don't think I have a chance there (so thinking about SEAS instead of Wharton, but I don't know). However, I don't think it would hurt to apply to M&T ED (I am a legacy at Penn) because I'm still considered for another school, and honestly, admissions are such a crapshoot, who's to say I have no chance? Don't call me crazy; I'm throwing that thought out there, and I just want to hear some opinions. Thanks for your time.

Uh... I wouldn't say a lot more, but yep, they look at more than your grades.
