<p>hey i was just wondering what some of you guys did for like security of your personal items. like laptops, passports, identification papers and stuff, valuable items or what not. i want to bring in a HD LCD and i have an external hard drive that i just really don't want lying around on my desk. and then theres all the other stuff too.</p>
<p>just put it in your drawers, should be fine.</p>
<p>my dad was paranoid and he gave me a small file cabinet that you can lock up and stuff, but really unnecessary imo.</p>

<p>The level of security in the dorms varies between colleges, but for the most part if it's in your room, it should be safe.</p>
