Hello everyone. I applied to Ithaca College for the Acting BFA. I called today to set up my audition date/time, but unfortunately, the date/time that works best for me (considering all of my other audition dates/times) is completely booked and I was offered to be placed onto the audition waitlist (I'm 4th).

Are the chances that I'll get the audition date slim?

Thanks!

Be persistent, but very VERY polite. Remember that there will be some students who receive an “admit” from their number one school, and then will cancel the auditions they had scheduled for the others. Good luck!

this reply is probably too late but my son had the same problem. He called and asked if he could come on a different date and they said “no”. His coach suggested that he show up on the date that worked anyway and they couldn’t have been nicer. He auditioned last but he felt that was an advantage as they game him lots of time and attention. He is still waiting to hear but he loved Ithaca.
