It's been a dream, folks...

Today I confirmed my enrollment...to the University of Maryland - College Park.

To my fellow SCEAers, I had a great time sharing our mutual anxieties and stress and celebrating our acceptance to Stanford. Wasn't that week in December just amazing?

Anyway, attending Stanford was a financial impossibility for me, so taking the full ride to Maryland was a no-brainer. (College for 100+K in loans vs. college for free.)

Though I must say, checking the "no" box on the enrollment response card was difficult.

I wish you all the best of luck at Stanford. Who knows? Maybe I'll see some of you in four years at grad school.

Ah man. I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck!

awww well you will do soooooooooooooo GREAT at maryland. my friend too was in a simlar situation between yale and maryland. and with maryland's full ride she took it last year. she is really content there. :) congrats on both places.

I am so very sorry to hear that... you're a great guy. I guess you're not coming to Admit Weekend then? I'm confident that you'll be fantastic at Maryland though! Hopefully we can meet someday!

No, I won't be making the trip. Instead, my parents owe me their permission to go on a trip somewhere, sometime during the summer with some of my friends.

Again, my best wishes to you all.
