So, a rather melodius bird just told me that Brown offers cable…for free! Is this true?

I think you have to buy the cable or something.

dude, TV is the end of the human spirit.

Yes it's free if you bring your own cable.

why would you want to watch tv anyways.....I have turned mine on maybe 10 times this year.

I heard the cable sucks though. How many channels do we get?

I don't have a tv now, so I doubt I'll watch much in college, but I've been told that 24 is the best thing since sliced bread and that it is a must-see. What's it about, anyway?

I hear they have the NASA channel. Really exhilarating.

wait so we have to bring out own tv and cable?

Or you can make your roommate bring one!

yea the selection is pretty limited... from what i remember from the summer program there were about 10 channels that came in clearly

I'd say a quality college experience would involve less tv rather than more. I mean, I love tv, but i resort to it when im bored, which i hope ill rarely be at Brown...:)

The cable is free, and will have 10-12 more channels next year.

rabo... 24 is incredible! I got hooked after the first episode this season. Basically, the entire season takes place in 1 day, with each episode being 1 hour of that day. It revolves around some kind of terrorism plot. Highly recommended.

I heard as of now you get something like 9 channels for free. You can get more than that with just an antenna.

has anyone heard of the band choking victim and the song by them called "500 channels"? It's good stuff.
