Anyone has it? Do they add it on the R&B and in general, do a majority of colleges allow cable?

My college has free cable, but at my brother’s they charge for it. I feel like most schools do have cable, though.

I haven’t lived in a dorm in awhile, but at my old college they had cable (probably included in the tuition) and about eight channels worth of HBO and three of Shotime.

The only college I’ve heard of not allowing cable is a really conservative Christian one, but that school also bans students from watching R-rated movies (even off campus) and from sharing blankets with a person of the opposite sex. So there’s probably some sort of cable available where you want to go.

But really. Are you going to spend thousands of dollars to go watch TV? Maybe a little is fine, but cable should certainly be at the bottom of your priority list. The students who have the most fun in college don’t just sit around and watch TV all the time.

Free cable at my school. If I had to pay for it I wouldn’t get it though. I watch most of my favorite TV shows online anyways

LOL falalalena… its in the cost of your tution bill. Nothin free there.

Nah, I know. Ima be to busy studying LOL. Just wanted to know b/c there are about 1 or 2 shows that I would like to see once in a blue moon haha. But thanks guys, your answers have been helpful.

We get about 40 cable channels and HBO included in our room rent, if you want more you have to set up an account with the cable provider.

they provide the basic stations at my school. Free of charge. All I need is ABC for Jeopardy and I’m good. :)
