It's May 15th and I ain't got nothin

Anybody get the email yet?

5pm....my brother

I would guess it would come out around 5 PM in Eastern time just like the regular decision notice came out.

Oh man! Why're they prolonging the wait this much?

They like to torture us? I already lost hope. If they were going to accept me, it would have happened a long time ago. I doubt I'll get in. =/

Nickel Xenon: sadly enough, I think I agree with you where I'm concerned. Sigh. And I've been desperate for Columbia as long as I can remember. I'd give my liver to go there.

Sigh.

I really wouldn't mind the extended waitlist. I know it sounds crazy, but anything, really, anything to keep the hope on.

Yeah, if I get on the extended waitlist, I wouldn't mind either. At least there was still a chance rather than flat-out being rejected. I think they've already accepted everyone they're going to this time.

Keep up hope folks;

(even though I don't have much either)

You can always transfer!

I think it's probably harder to transfer than to get in regular. =/

lol sorry i havent been keeping up lately. What are we waiting for? I assume Columbia is notifying remaining waitlist students of their decisions? If so, I'm glad it'll finally be over.

Yes, that's right. Today you'll find out if you were accepted, rejected, or put on the extended waitlist. I think the last two are the most likely. I doubt there are acceptances left for this time. =/

Man, it really seems like Columbia waitlisted a LOT of kids this year.

Yeah I think it's because a ton more people applied and to many more schools than usual it seems. So they're probably scared not enough people will enroll. We're their safety net.

waiitt 5 pm? I called the office and they said that they are just notifiying people like individually...they didn't say anything about 5 pm o.O

why do they do this too us!!!!!!!!!

I feel used!

No, but seriously, I'm glad it's about to be over (maybe?). Please, let Harvard and Princeton take away as many enrollees as possible! :)

Sadly, we are being used. =/ We're their back-up plan. DX

Yep. Ironically, all my hopes now rely on Harvard and Princeton, and I didn't apply to either.

Wow, this year's been weird.

Haha! Me too! Go Harvard! Princeton! Accpet those people. >D

And what's sad is that I don't even MIND being used by Columbia.

Whoa, I sure sound like a sorry figure.

Me either! I don't mind being used! It's not like anyone will know we got off the waitlist either. >_>
