LOL...i like this thread.

yah, no kidding, please share more.

I emailed my adcom twice with an about 3 month waiting period. I was simply trying to touch bases with him. He never responded so I emailed him again... still never responded. Anyways the man contacted my school and said that he was "worried" that I might be stressed about college and that he suggested I needed to talk to a counselor. He got me completely wrong and truly embarrassed me. The school I applied to was a complete reach and I was fully aware. I was very saddened by the whole situation. He completely blew me off. I don't think he wanted to deal with me. Very embarrassing. : (

thedream: I, for one, don't believe you or your story....

haha oh wow, thats really harsh

gbv: didn't mean to be harsh...read the thread above; not sure dreamusc is on the level...

haha 2275 sat score? yeah...thats not exactly possible. bad number to make up...maybe try a 2280 next time.

Im glad to know you guys are professional stalkers. How does it feel? Do you just waste your life trying to find stuff on people you dont know? Good for you!

I doubt that this approaches the level of professional stalking- just typical CC behavior. If we see a post that looks somewhat questionable, most of us will click on the little button with your name to look at previous posts. This is just our way to make sure we aren't responding to a troll. Most people here weren't trying to be mean, they were just trying to clarify the post. I doubt that college admissions counselors can contact your high school counselor in that way without getting your permission- if that did happen, it is very strange. Most of these people want the best for you, however.

No i swear to God he did. Is that not ridiculous? All I wanted from him was a response. He could not do that for me, but instead called my school and told them I might need help. I was petrified! I understand what you mean Nikara, but why do you think people on here care so much about others that they snoop around to see what else they have been writing?

thedream: Sorry I couldn't respond until now; for some reason, my CC was out last night; You completely misunderstood me; I did not stalk you; I happen to have read your other thread very close to the time you posted this one;

IMO, I have a theory about trust; Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me....After reading how you fudged your original stats, I thought you posted this story as another "tall tale"....If that is not the case, I'm truly sorry and, yes, it is "ridiculous" that he called your GC and told them that.....

thanks rodney. yea the stats i previously posted were false but i promise this occured. why would i lie about something as minute as this anyways?

coolmom: Explanation? or just venting......

how is it funny when you do quite a lot of asking about the waves and acceptances

From my experience, USC has great admission officers. Every one of my email was responded back promptly and when I met with them, they were all very friendly.

I doubt that your story is true and you have a great reason to lie about something as "minute" as this: to give USC a bad reputation.

The admission officer could very well just ignore you. I doubt he had time to go through the trouble to contact your school.

yea im pretty sure thedreamusc is lying or maybe he was so stupid that his counselor did not want to waste time dealing with him. usc adcoms are actually pretty cooperative
