IU application-no essay?

Is that right that there is no essay required? All you need to submit is:

ACT/SAT scrores
transcripts
application online or paper in mail
fee
school counselor form (does it have it be the specific IU form?)

At that is it? That should not take long! Please let me know if I am missing something!

Yes, the counselor form needs to be the IU form. Just print it out and give it to your counselor.

An essay is not required. A few years ago I asked an admissions person about it. I was told that if your scores and GPA are in a range where one would receive any kind of automatic scholarship it really is unnecessary. For those people that have scores or a GPA that is questionable, I would recommend it.

ok thanks for your reply.

My boys used e-transcript for counselor to send in the forms with signature. It is the preferred and easiest way if your high school is instate. Your counselor should know about it.

What if we want to submit an essay (a personal essay like on the common app)? Should we mail that to admissions?
