IU bloomington Kelley, IUPUI Kelley, CUNY Baruch? (the best for Undergrad finance for int'l student)

Hi, I am an indian and have been accepted at 1. IU-Bloomington with DA to kelley and 28k scholarship
2. IUPUI - Finance honours $76k scholarship
3. Applied to Cuny - Baruch
I wish to know which university is the best to attend based on the following factors, prioritised in descending order (most to least)

  1. Career in IB or Wall street (Job prospects), securing H1B?
  2. Value of Degree, (chances of admission to Ivies for grad school)
  3. Cost of education

Also is there a significant difference between IUPUI and IU-B apart from cost? In terms of employer consideration?
Is CUNY-B a target school? is IU-B one?

Thankyou

I’d go with CUNY as it’s close to Wall Street… isn’t their financial engineering one of the best? Being in NYC while in college helps

IU Bloomington isn’t really a target school, but many students do go into IB every year. The key is to get into the investment banking workshop. This requires good grades as well as playing some politics from what I’ve heard, but the students in the workshop generally have good career outcomes in banking as far as I know.

I don’t know if IUPUI has a similar workshop, but I would guess your chances in banking would be better at Bloomington than IUPUI. Technically, both schools are Kelley, but I think there are at least some employers who would value Bloomington more than IUPUI. IUPUI might be better for the cost though, so I would try to find some people who know more about their program than I do. I don’t know anything about CUNY.

Definitely agree with this ^^^ I would guess ~90 grads (70ish from the ibw then maybe 20 outside) go from btown to ibanking each year so I would imagine that your goal would be feasible at IUB. I’m sure that the business program in Indy is fantastic as well but Bloomington is almost certainly better tailored for banking specifically.

Realize that Kelley has over 7000 undergrads. So 90 grads is almost nothing – like 1%.
