IU Fry Scholarship 2019

I’m not sure, I never heard about that scholarship besides what has been mentioned in this forum.

Deans Council doesn’t fill the gap like Fry, but it is a large amount of money. I would be happy with either honestly. IU is just still too much OOS.

I just got an email that I didn’t recieve Fry but I am having a phone interview for Kelley Deans Council Scholarship. Not super disappointed because there are other opportunities for money.

@hoosierdaddy123 Congrats on the Dean’s Council opportunity. My understanding is that it ranges between $9-13k a year. I wish you luck.

Sorry to hear that @hoosierdaddy123 but congrats on Dean Council Scholarship! How did you find out about Fry? Did they send you an email to your personal account? I have still not heard back

Thank You! Still wish I recieved Fry but I’m excited for the interview. Where did you find information for Deans Council Scholarship? Wish you the best for the rest of Fry notifications!

@MXM2000 I recieved an email in my personal account. They told me I did not receive Fry but am eligible for Dean’s Council. So hopefully that means more people will get Fry offers Friday.

I spoke to Kelley Fry representative about it. Other than a few pictures of the Dean’s Council scholars, there isn’t much information on it online. It is a relatively new scholarship. The amount depends on funds available but they told me it was in that range ($9-13k).

That’s still a good amount on top of the money I already recieved! Indiana may actually be an option.

What is the amount of Hudson and Holland scholarship?

6k a year

Thanks, it’s nothing for an OOS student…:(.

I think that the majority of kids already have received a yes for the Fry @whs2016

@asanta28 so what if I haven’t heard anything yet? There was another wave of rejections today. Surely that means there’s still hope for me.

So whats the point of stringing some kids until Friday? I feel like they’ll offer atleast one more Friday, otherwise they would have denied everyone already. Also does anyone know how many frys have been awarded so far? And also how many they’re awarding this year?

Does anyone know what questions they ask in the interviews?

I would assume simple interview questions. For a few interviews I’ve had they’ve asked me to tell me about myself, they asked if I had the opportunity what kind of business I would start and why. Other was why I was interested in the school and how it would help me develop for after college.

I was told that an email will be sent tomorrow in the late afternoon about Fry scholarship

@college019 That doesn’t sound to promising.
